Patrick Hatari

Mr. Patrick Hatari joined SOS Children’s Villages in Rwanda as a Director of Programme from International Alert where he was working as a projects manager and a designate deputy chief of party for the USAID funded projects.

Prior to joining international Alert, Patrick served in two portfolios as a project manager of education projects and as an early childhood development program coordinator with Plan International.

He also worked with World Vision Rwanda as a coordinator of sponsorship program. He brings a wealth of experience in childcare and child protection programs as well as a strong background in economic strengthening, peacebuilding, and psychosocial healing programs and sexual and reproductive health and rights.

He has over 11 years managing projects and programs. He also has taught in University of Rwanda College of education as an assistant lecturer and holds a Master’s of science in project management and Bachelor’s degree in education
