Isimbi Sonia Melisa has secured a permanent job through a partner Rwanda project. Isimbi, 23, is working at Off Gride Box located in Gasabo District, City of Kigali.

In 2022, the Partner Rwanda project facilitated an internship for Isimbi as a Customer Care and Sales personnel at Off Grid Box. After three months of intensive internship and brilliant performance, Isimbi was appointed as a permanent Customer care and Sales focal person.

"When I joined Off Grid Box I did my best to get a job, some of my friends and family discouraged me and told me that training and internship in customer care and sales could not help me find a job. Despite the discouragement, I worked hard. Today I have a job with a monthly salary,” she explained.

Isimbi is now financially stable and regularly supports her family with her income.

The Partner Rwanda project started in 2021. The overall objective is to provide demand-driven training for skilled workers leading to more and better job opportunities in Rwanda and increased income, especially for young people
