SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda has launched a 2-year course in supervision

SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda has launched a 2-year course in supervision in the helping professions commonly referred to in Rwanda as clinical supervision.
The course is part of the 4-year Danish funded project in "building mental health competencies for supporting vulnerable children and young people in Rwanda".
A number of 18 experienced professionals are participating and have completed the first 40 hours of the course which will be followed by 10 months of practicum. The trainer is a highly experienced supervisor and family therapist from Denmark supported by a Rwandan experienced psychiatrist.
SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda is working closely with Danish in different programs including education family strengthening, advocacy etc.
